Great source of DLL files for those times you lose one. When you uninstall a
program that you no longer use, you might inadvertently delete a shared DLL
(dynamic link library) file that's needed by another program. You'll know it happened when you launch
one of your favorite programs, only to receive a "missing file" error
message that contains the name of the DLL that's gone MIA. The actions of
uninstall procedures depend on the uninstall utility that
came with the program you'd like to remove. Some are sensitive to shared files
and alert you when you're in danger of deleting one, while others simply wipe
out every file associated with the unwanted program. The good news is, the
Internet is host to a number of DLL banks where you can easily download the
missing file-in most cases, for free. Here are a few worth checking out:

{Netscape users just need to go to the Edit item on the top menu bar and select Preferences then select Use Current Page and OK.}
Please read the following three steps then return to McCook Direct Home Page. You can use the menu above to see what the process looks like but don't click on the OK button because you will put this page as your start page.
1) On the top menu bar of McCook Direct's Home Page click on "Tools" and select "Internet Options".
2) On the first tab "General" under the subheading "Home Page" click on the button "Use Current". This will put the mccookdirect.com URL in the small white window.
3) Go to the bottom portion of the Internet Options popup window and click on "OK". Now when you originally start up your browser it will go to McCook Direct and every time you select Home from the menu bar on your browser.
It is quite easy to move your store root to a more convenient location, rather then buried in the Windows folder if you are using Outlook Express (OE). The reason you might want to do this is to preserve your messages and address book incase your C: drive crashes and you need to rebuild it from scratch. This way you have not lost the information.
1. Open Windows Explorer and create a folder you want OE to use for the new store, (preferably on a separate local drive or partition. You cannot move the store to a network drive or removable drive.). This has to be done before going to step two.
2. Open OE and click TOOLS,
OPTIONS and then select the
MAINTENANCE tab.
3. On that page click on the STORE FOLDER button and a smaller window called Store Location will open.
4. Click on the Change button in that window and Browse to your new folder.
5. Click OK to close each dialogue, and then close OE. When you open OE again it will automatically move the old store to the new location.
For more information on this and other OE maintenance go to http://www.tomsterdam.com/ or here for frequently asked questions => http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/
If you want to save the file to your floppy drive (A:) you will need to click the little black down arrow to the right of the folder name. This will allow you to select the A: floppy drive. After the A: appears in the white window to the right of “save in” you are ready to click on OK. Be sure you have a floppy in the A: drive.
If you just received an Email and you want to add it to your OE address book all you need to do is Right Click on the “From – Subject” line of the Email you want to add to your address book (top right pane) and select “add sender to address book”.
If you have the new address written down on a piece of paper and not in the form of an Email they follow these steps to add it to your Outlook Express program.
If you want to group a number of Email addresses in your address book so you can send the same Email to all, follow the steps below.
